Masters Program

The Masters program is available to adults 18-118. Whether you are into serious fitness or enjoyable recreation, the Clermont Crew Masters program provides the facilities and opportunity to get out on the lake and into the fresh air.

OPEN BOATHOUSE DAYS - Try rowing hands-on!

Clermont Crew offers Open Boathouse Days, so that you can come get to know our sport. We will teach you the basic stroke on a rowing machine and then put you in a boat with experienced rowers. You've always wanted to try it, here's your chance!

NEW ROWERS - Masters Learn to Row Course!

Get up to speed quickly and join the Masters rowing program with our instructional course for new rowers! Individuals who complete the course will be eligible to join the Masters Recreational and Competitive program. No previous experience required! These are 5-day courses, meeting Monday through Friday evenings from 5 pm to 7 pm.

Dates: June 19-23 or Aug 14-18

Cost: $100

EXPERIENCED ROWERS

If you are an experienced rower, please fill out the membership application below and mail it in with your payment. We also require that you read our Safety manual (see Useful Documents at the bottom of this page) and return the Safety Manual Receipt form (also under Useful Documents).  We will be setting a schedule for masters rowing and posting it here as soon as possible.

Requirements

  • Masters rowers must attend orientation training.
  • Boathouse access is subject to a security deposit.
  • Certify that you can: tread water for 2 minutes, swim, and don a life-jacket while treading water
  • Minimum physical requirements to join our Learn to Row class: lift 35 lbs overhead, bend knees to the squat position

Boat Storage

Boat storage is available to Masters rowers for a quarterly fee.
